I miss the days of new color ways being retro +Cool Greys are dope but not OG. Greys are a retro+, probably the greatest retro+ ever.
Or how about any Original color way is an OG? You're out here changing definitions. They are OG. Jordan played in them during his NBA career. Any Jordan Michael played in during an NBA game is OG in my book. History is in association with the shoe.
What does retro plus mean if you don't mind me asking? Thanks

in the early 2000's shoes that were retroed but in new color ways were always called "retro +". It's just a small detail but it let you know that this color way has never came out before. Some notable retro + shoes are : Black/Chrome 8 , Cool Grey 11, and Bling 4s.

OG Jordan's are, Jordan's you could buy in the store when Jordan was playing up the 14's.Which means OG Jordan's=Original release to the public So space jam's and cool grey's are not OG, they are Jordan signature shoes that were re-released to the public, so all color that were not part of the original release are retro's You all know the three OG Jordan xi's
Also I stated the 14's because of the last shots, and also there were retro in the early 90's but this every month, every year retro release started in 99 with the May 99 release of the Black/red/cement Jordan retro 4's which was the year most 14's released and the first color of the 15's came out, so I only look at retro of these model's because that's all the OG models release when the every month retro Jordan's had started
Last the space jam's concord lows and black/red low were Jordan PE's, but not released to public, you couldn't go in the store and buy they are not OG's 2000Space jams, Olympic Jordan 6's, white navy 6's and 2001 cool grey's would be what you call retro + colors
Agree with most but 15,16,17,18,19,20,21 etc. all have OG color waysOG Jordan's are, Jordan's you could buy in the store when Jordan was playing up the 14's.Which means OG Jordan's=Original release to the public So space jam's and cool grey's are not OG, they are Jordan signature shoes that were re-released to the public, so all color that were not part of the original release are retro's You all know the three OG Jordan xi's

Well the argument is that OG only applies to colorways that were released to the public and worn by MJ on court during the NBA season they were debuted. Which I completely agree with. But they're also saying the variation of the Space Jams we know as consumers aren't considered OG since he didn't wear them on court during the '95-'96 season. Idk, after seeing those PEs a few pages back the Space Jams are OG to me, but I was born in '95 and only seen MJ play in real-time during his stint with the Wizards so I guess my opinion is completely invalid.
Didn't He wear them in the movie? Hence the space jam nickname. I'd consider those pretty OG since Jordan himself was the one who introduced them. Unless you're purely making OG colorways that were worn on court/in game.
Those were concords with black leather and mesh. find pics you'll see the concord pods and jumpman. in the movie the cameras sucked so they looks blue. hence space jamwait how are the Space Jams not considered OG?? There were pics a few pages back of Jordan wearing a PE version with the concord Jumpman and the powder blue outsole. They might not technically be identical but close enough for me to say it's the same colorway right??
just went back and read some older posts and that's a terrible name if they really called those black concords. I never really liked the name for the concords anyway. And the jumpman isn't even concord colored either! just the pods on the outsole. I hate it when they name a colorway based off another colorway. I used to get so annoyed when I would wear my DMP 11s and someone would call them concords. I mean I understand that the shoes are aesthetically similar, but at the same time I feel those gold accents set the shoe miles apart from those plain jane looking concords. Those were concords with black leather and mesh. find pics you'll see the concord pods and jumpman. in the movie the cameras sucked so they looks blue. hence space jam

"A part of the shoe is irredescent." It's never been specified which part and we just assumed it's the patent leather. If it's an embossed Jumpman, I have a feeling it's the Jumpman.Other details will also include an embossed Jumpman logo on the back heel instead of embroidered, and different laces that will replace the classic rope laces. You can also expect another raise in the retail price tag, as reports have them set for $220 USD.
