To me they are not as fire as the whites but the whites came with that disgusting crease direct from Jordan smh and they say friends and family is better quality lol so much for that

I think the only reason why the 7's weren't an instant sell out was because they never released on NDC. That was during the time period no Jordan releases were released from like June-September on NDC. All that stock sitting in stores and not may stores wanting to do phone orders made the shoes not sell out. Now they are released in outlets. When they release on Snkrs, (hopefully not a draw) they will sell out

True they weren't on NDC, but they sat at NikeDallas and NikeLV, both of which are well known for phone orders, for weeks in almost every size. I personally ordered the Cigs from NTLV the Monday after release and then the Champagnes a week and a half later in size 9.5. Supposedly these are also releasing in GS where the VI and VII did not. I wouldn't imagine them cutting production numbers and then producing them in GS. Both Aqua and Chromes are still orderable in stores and are now rampant in outlets, and I don't think any 8, aside from the DB, had the hype and lust that Aqua's had and those sat.
8's are my favorite model and I buy two pairs of each release on r/d, but they're just not popular enough unless they're absurdly limited, and with resell slowly dying off on most models, especially the one's with high MSRPs, I just don't see these being unattainable if you put in any type of effort. We're a month and a half away from r/d and the thread is on 6 pages. Contrast that with the Flu's - 30 pages and Metallic V's - 77 pages.
