Jordan Retro 8 "Champ Pack"

Got to see both in person at my local boutique yesterday and I'm not gonna lie I was disappointed. The black is super meh in person, but I wasn't high on it any way. The white pair was surprisingly disappointing as well. The upper is nubuck so its going to get filthy. It's also a creamish color. From the filtered pics I though it was bright white. The sole is semi-translucent and when it yellows its going to look awful. I love 8's. They were my first jordan back in 93. I double on every colorway released for them so I have a back up pair. With that said I think I've gone from wanting both to possible only wanting 1 of the white. The quality and execution just isnt there with these for me to drop 500-1000 on this release. I think resell will be high like normal that 1st weekend, but will drop really quick once people see pairs in hand.

resell won't be high at all on these.  they are sitting on ebay right now for 320-350.  

these retail for 270 after tax.  i hope no1 is buying these for the flip.  

guaranteed tickets are still available at one of my local stores.  and they started giving them out monday morning
 
i hope yall are right. i think only one sheikh, one FTL and FA are getting them in Houston. All raffle. If anyone knows any other spots let us know. 

and add to the fact that nobody likes 8s! thats what everybody says right? haha 8s were also my first pair in '93 so i need these maaan

Run to and outlet ASAP and pick up a pair of Chromes for dirt cheap.

View media item 2077413 Just got these in hand today and I can honestly say, they are SUPER DOPE.. All cream 8 with gold hints and A1 detailing.. The cork box makes these extra special.. If yall sleep thinking these are going to the outlets, you are playing yourself straight up. Lol at who ever even came up with that idea. These are a hypebeast dream even w/o an owl on them.

I'm with you, everyone said that noise about 8s being trash with the DB 8 and that turned into a disaster on release day. These are limited, only 1 boutique is getting em here, but honestly they're not anything more than aqua quality, and 250 for an 8 is pushing it for reseller to gamble on in the current market. They're not moving at the 350 preorder prices. The 300 they are moving at isn't going to net them a profit unless they move them locally. 
 
Question for any experienced online buyers. Between oneness, shoepalace, and DLTR which should i attempt copping these online with on release (best chances, most reliable ie). SNKRS has tht drawing which means i probably wont getem there.

ONENESS is my favorite
 
If I do win one of the raffles I entered, I hope is for the Trophy. That's the one I really want. If I win the Confetti I will have to make my decision when I see them in person. $250 plus Tax is too much for these IMO. It will be $270 after taxes here in H-Town.
