Are the straps thick as well?Just got my two pair in. Say what you wanna say about the colors, but the leather is thick and quality is top notch on these. I can't even complain about the craftsmanship on these.

How snug are they around the ankles?
These would be amazing without the stupid tongue logo... The circle carpet jumpman is one of the signature staples of AJ VIIIs, kinda wack they left it out.
What is an old man shoe?
So would you consider the Hare 7s kid shoes? Not an old mans shoe = not something I can pull off wearing.
Personally the color combo just isn't working for me......and I don't rock Coogi sweaters to match.

I concur, I like OG color ways more than Retro + color ways (the Shattered Backboards excluded). These are alright but by no means amateurish, the colors are used from teams Jordan beat to secure his first three rings. I like that they used a white base than a black base because if it were black it would seem dull to me. As you said everyone has their opinion and I respect yours. It's not about it being a kids shoe, it's more about personal opinion. This color way looks amateurish IMO. For those that like it, you should buy what you like regardless of what anyone else says.
The Hares are an OG color way. Since I was a kid buying these, I like OGs more since I had at least a pair per year years ago. Most Jordan's released in both a white and black base same day, then a playoff pair months later. The splash of color on the tongue of the 7s is a signature. I'm personally more of a fan of the Bordeauxs, over every other color way of the VII.
