Today's pickups are my 2006 Pure$ and my 2010 25th Anniversary 4's. So last Saturday when I got my 2017 Pure$'s, I quickly realized the sock liner was different than the previous 2 pairs. Not even gonna lie, it PISSED me off. With what I'm trying to accomplish here, any difference, no matter how small, between a current release pair and the original of the same colorway qualifies them as two different shoes in my eyes[emoji]128064[/emoji] and therefore I need both "versions"[emoji]128545[/emoji]. I immediately set out to find decent condition and AFFORDABLE '06's or '10's. @ijapino came through with some clutch pics[emoji]128591[/emoji] for me highlighting the differences, well the lack of, between the '06's and '10's. They were pretty damn close so I didn't care which pair I got. I made a "WANTED" post on IG then I hit eBay and found a clean pair of size 12 '06's with no yellowing that came with OG box and poster (could use a lil cleaning from me). I acted fast and managed to talk the seller down to only $110. Cool, excellent. Was prepared to buy them when my bro @soleswap850 shows up in my DM with his 2010 size 12 Anniversaries with no box. Shoes were in EXCELLENT condition. He threw me an offer I couldn't refuse (less than the '06 pair). I thought about which one I should buy, then I quickly came to my senses and bought them both. So on the morning of 5/13/17, I had zero Pure$'s, but by the end of the night, I managed to secure all 3 pairs that have ever released[emoji]128527[/emoji]. Not too shabby. Now I need @jumpman23 to explain to me why the 11 year old 2006's are built so much better than the price hiked, "REMASTERED" 2017's[emoji]128530[/emoji]. Anywho, enjoy[emoji]128513[/emoji]
