Great shot of these - do you know if the grey pair is coming along with the other three?Came in the mail yesterday from my Jordan fam.
People really like this crap ?
Why ?
Because we don't think it's crap.
No I'm being serious why do people like this
It's a classic shoe in the two OG color ways but this I don't understand the hype
These are beyond a lifestyle shoe for me as a long time buyer I feel Nike can't come up with any ideas
Yeah it's something new but I feel it's killing the Legacy of the Jordan 2's
Also what does deacon mean with a Jordan shoe
If this was a GR no one would touch it

1) Nobody needs to explain their tastes to you, so you can stop pestering the thread. Don't like 'em? Point taken. Now move along.
Bordeauxes/Maroons/Burgundys/Whatevers look beautiful in that picture up there. Really don't want to spend $160 on them though.
I'm not a fan of trying to overexplain subjective matters. Everything you may find unappealing is someone else's favorite part. It can really just be that simple.
But since you're not trolling, I'll dive a little deeper, speaking for myself.
I'm a fan of this silhouette when done properly (sleek toeboxes), and think that these three monochrome colorways look nice on it.
"Decons" as far as Jordans are concerned so far...
is the practice of taking the padded, structured, multi-materialed uppers of the original models and replacing them with thin, more casual, single material versions.
With the Jordan Is (pics on the first page), they did a single piece canvas upper with stitching throughout it to imitate the design and an extra piece of canvas on the heel to add a little reinforcement/structure. Reminiscent of Converses.
With these Decon IIs (as far as these 3 pairs are concerned, we know of two more supposed colorways that may be of a different construction), they're using cuts of suede with just enough overlays to give the upper the same level of design that the normal model has. Both models have been set on top of their regular soles.
I don't know where you've seen hype so I can't really speak on that, but this thread has had roughly 3 pages of content over almost half a year so I think it's safe to say that any repeat posters in here are truly interested in these.
As for the last sentence, maybe. We don't know that they aren't a GR, but they probably aren't. Does that really matter though?

Touchy I hope you don't get a pair
In case you didn't know this is a message board where you can ask questions
You like what you like I dislike what I don't like
It's your money
I not pestering buddy I'm just asking a question
Ok, "legitimate reseller," you're not pestering at all... and be sure to stay classy.
Thanks you for your response sir
Me personally I can't see this being a big seller if it was a GR it would be like the hundreds and hundreds of Jordan 1's that release throughout the years with the jumpman on the tongue that end up outlet bound
Maybe I'm wrong I've been wrong in the past
Good luck on getting your pairs Gordonson
Back on track, release date is now June 15, correct? Any way to fix the thread title?
I'm in...for these....
