Was that one of those sites that sold bootleg Jordans during the 2000s perhaps? I assume you're making a reference to that. Please clarify and inform me.

so I spelled it wrong, it was Cankicks.com I believe lol but yes. It was one of those sites from the early 2000’s that would sell the wildest fakes from the SpongeBob dub zeroes to the see through air Jordan 7s.

Thanks for clarifying all that.
I recall bootlegs were commonly found on those sites and swap meets during the 2000s. I believe those variants haven't existed since that decade because the fakes are all the rare or general release shoes nowadays.
I agree with your point that this pending release seems like this brand got the inspiration from those bootlegs found on those sites. This one basically coincides with how I've reiterated multiple times on this site that this brand tends to get inspiration from the bootleggers with certain colors.
