I remember when these came out I was in 7th (maybe 8th?) grade but I couldn’t afford them because i spent all my money on the fire red 3s.

eventually some girl in class sold her pair to me for like $50. I was a size 8 but her military IVs were a size 7 but I wanted them so bad I endured the pain by squeezing my feet in.

If I remember correctly, when the pictures came out people hated them

Then when they dropped everybody was stuck inside, and bored with that free Covid money, and suddenly they became desirable again

Only 4s I personally find still worth wearing without the new slimmed down toe box are the unions and the offwhite 4s. That said, the military blues are making me want to offload the taupe hazes.

I want those OW 4’s so bad but there’s just so many fakes i can’t do it.

Still need the black unions tbh.

Dig into it a little deeper, the fakes have never gotten it right with these because of all of the different materials and colors Nike used on these. Midsole paint is always off, the clear midsole gradient color is always off.

Got my first pair last week from dtlr and the second pair landed today from jd sports... They gave me a refund on the shipping... Going to keep the double up shawty...

Sending one of my pairs back, a lot of QC issues going on (dent in the toebox, thin cut marks on the mudguard etc.)

The leather is trash also... Toebox leather is "aight" but around the ankle, collar and sides feels like that stuff JB was pumping in 2011-2012. I mean you can knock on em and it sounds like you hitting sheet rock.

That wasn't even the worst part, they sent me a LNM pair... That was the straw that broke the camel's back

Love my pair, gotta switch out the insole because I feel spoiled by the fit of the Bred joints.

I get sticking to OG specs... but we could've gotten a poly insole c'mon man
