They look good, but this detail here needs to be fixed. When the toe guard gets too close to the sole “wing” it looks bad aesthetically.

Huge, huge detail that does in fact matter. Even on the SB this spacing varies, but it’s usually more like the 89. I expect some unlucky few will get real pairs that look similar to the bottom but vast majority will look good with a nice sloped toe and a mudguard that nicely follows the shape of the outside/midsole.
