Yeah I don't think there's any type of cushioning in there. I own them and don't feel anything going on at the forefoot. Thatdoesn't mean they're uncomfortable, however.

I tried them on, but I was surprised. They're much heavier than I thought they would be, and there's only a little bit of air in the back. Definitelynothing in the front. Pretty crappy performance shoes

^Yeah they definitely don't have a plush ride, by all means. But at least the quality of the materials seem on-point, and they're comfortable ingeneral. Just not $125 comfortable.
