Jordan 17 Doernbecher

Trade off of capitalism in the US.. has to be a fair trade thing or some way to block it but what business wants to lobby against someone using a bot to purchase something right away vs the general public making the purchase patiently which might mean product sits a little longer (not sitting like a dud.. but sitting like normal).

The general customer pays every time smh.

I still can’t understand, that in the year 2026, we still have not found a way to disrupt this botting ****. I mean its EVERYWHERE. Sneakers, electronics, trading cards, food, games, like bro wtf is going on? What happened to the government banning these bots?
It's gotten to a point where if I strike out I instantly lose all care these days. My bigger question, is.... who is still out here paying resell for a shoe like this? We will all forget about this shoe in one month. Sneakers have become so unspecial... unless its the Spacejam, Brick by Brick, Undefeated where it has something to it. But these.... who is giving the reseller $350? Raise your hand. lol. All for some dude 6 months from now to maaaaaaaybe eventually say, "oh yeah I remember those" and give you a nod...

I mean go back a few pages if you're truly curious who is paying resale for this shoe. I don't pay resale for shoes but I totally get it. My "bigger question" is why people will happily announce that they bought a size that isn't theirs. "Missed my size 11 so I grabbed a size 9 and a size 8". That's wild to me. It's not new at all, but it's wild.

This has always bugged TF outta me. If it's a shoe I REALLY want, and half size up/down is actually wearable for me, I might go for it. Otherwise, I just leave without purchasing. I remember going to Richard's for the Reimagined 3's when they were still doing in-person raffle sign-ups. Bunch of resellers and their girlfriends lined up first and took all the big sizes. Asked for a 12. Nope. 11.5? Nope. Closest is an 11. "OK, thanks," and walked away. Employee looked at me like I was nuts.

Im usually too mad once I strike out in my size (10,10.5) that i just close the app or walk away/try another store

The embarrassment of telling the worker my size then be like "yall got any size I can buy" is wild lol

The only justice is seeing those dudes get stuck with sizes on releases now. You can still find ghetto dudes in Atlanta buying multiple pairs of shoes like the Taxi 12s like its a flex to resell. I laugh because I wanna ask so bad, "who could be dumb and or lazy enough to buy from you?"

Or you can go to the East Atlanta side and see a dude with only OG Jordans

A small Doernbecher family portrait. Left out some doubles (Vs, 6s, 14s, Foams). I absolutely love the 17s (SNKRS). Little homie crushed it ❤️‍🔥. Bless these kids with good health ❤️‍🩹

I wear a 13, which is the hardest size IMO, and I’ve seen so many 8-10.5 cats buying the last 13 to resell.

I’ll never forget being in Oneness boutique in Louisville when a dude tried this in ‘24. Luckily for me, I was out of town and I’m guessing they could tell, the employee looked out. Dude asked for his size and then asked what was left. He said I’ll take that 13 and the employee said wait. He asked what size I was looking for and gave it to me because it was actually my size.

I’ll never forget that. Drove to the Muhammad Ali center and laced em up the foams immediately.

Considering using some SX credit to cop these for 60 bucks over retail..just trying to think if I really need these. They're dope but I'm not sure how much wear I'll get out of them.

You’re going up against people all over the world running programs using multiple devices. Bottom line is that you won’t win. Gotta go the other way and decide that you don’t need any of it and not feed into that machine to keep it running

My joints came from San Jose, CA hope I see some movement soon but I know New Jersey probably got hit by the snow storm

Just got the authenticity verification from Kentucky. Hopefully they get here by Friday.

Agreed, but I'm also one of the (very) few heads on here that's taking Mid 17s over Lows 9/10 times
17 high>17 low no question
Mine just arrived at the authentication center today.

EDIT: Authenticated and on the way to me. the fake makers not messing with these huh. only jordan 1-4, travis and kobes?
