I probably would as well, except I’m very reluctant to pay resell for 85 cuts because of the leather component and possible sizing issues.

I’ve had problems with Jordan 1 sizing on models that use soft tumbled leather. No idea if TTS would work for me with the 85s.

…very risky move with no returns.

Sure about that? I remember older OG HI’s releasing with summit white in the color code and folks were scared it would be off-white/sail looking but it ended up just being a bright white.

The fact that these don’t have the reimagined tag has me cautiously optimistic.

I think these will be fine, I wouldn't sound the alarms so soon. They're said to be a High '85 pair not """Reimagined""" and on top of that, the Neutral Grey's also did not release with their colors being 1:1 as the original 1985 release featured Natural Grey not Neutral. If I had to guess I think these will probably have white sections that aren't pure white but rather eggshell white.

Honestly idk about Jordan 1s, but it's been other Nike Retros. I can't speak for the OGs either.

Yea, it was and it was a bright white.

I feel like I've seen Summit white in an off-white type hue, maybe not completely sail but not icey white either.

Hopefully they're bright white.
