ITT: Everything Electro/Dubstep/House/Trance Music

I still haven't been to output.

I thought I may have heard some murmuring about josh wink in this thread but Im not sure.

Anyone seen him / can recommend. I kind of want to make sure if I'm gonna waste money at output I'm gonna enjoy it.

How much are you 'wasting' at Output? Feel like the most I've spent there was cover at the door for $20-30.

Output might be my favorite club. Awesome experiences there and no bottle/table fiends walking around.

yea i keep up with their thurs-sat lineups and no way you'd waste your money on cover there. always solid.

their 2 days of halloween parites looks pretty awesome.
nina kraviz, stacey pullen, cassy, etc etc

interview with the godfather of house music

"I can't take responsibility for all of it! I can't take responsibility for the worst side of it. I refuse to take responsibility for the sht music that comes out. That's the main reason I got back in the studio and started producing music again. I think after a while it just reached a point where there was so much disposable bullsht music coming out that this whole genre of dance music was almost subject to disappearing because it was so disposable. Hey fellas I suggest you guys check out daftside. Its Nicholas Jaars remix album. It sounds nothing like Random Access Memories but in a amazing way.

I saw Blue Hawaii open up for Purity Ring and they were amazing. I havnt heard house beats with dreamy vocals. Here are two of their songs back to back.

Ahhhh. Damn it. Ok so I'm probably not seeing both so...... Josh wink or nina kraviz?

man tough. I'd choose Nina Kraviz just because the novelty of it (she never ever plays in the US). i feel like shes hit or miss alot. sometimes shell play a dope set, and sometimes shell play a boring minimal set. but for output, i think itll be bangin.

Wanted to go to hot since 82 at output for a while now but i dont have a ticket and noneof my friends wanna go (yet).

What does output charge at the door?

I remember when this thread was full of bickering back and forth. Its much friendlier now, good job guys.
One of the dudes even started another electro thread with some super specific thread title, I never saw it again since after the first day it was made

saw Zedd yesterday, great live set, I was only drunk this time so I remember it fully

He mixed in Mat Zo's Easy which I cried liked a lil school girl when that came on, also had SHM's greyhound Kanye's Mercy was in it as well, only wish he did a pure version of Clarity. He played his other hits as well

next concert is Kanye but 2 days later is Spookfest in Oracle Arena. I'm excited
  • Sebastian Ingrosso (of Swedish House Mafia)
  • Empire of the Sun (live set)
  • ATRAK
  • NERVO
  • Mord Fustang
  • Aaron Axelsen
  • Saint John
    pimp.gif
    (legend in my eyes)
  • Miles the DJ

Not trying to see any of those 3 headline **** man :lol Pretty predictable sets all around

Ingrosso is very predictable

Axwell has always played a solid amount of unreleased material when I've seen him.

Angello is only predictable lately if you follow his Size X label.

Although they're all basically obligated to play certain SHM tracks that the majority of the crowd will want and expect.

how recent was your viewing of Saint John? he's the reason I only decided to go with friends

Within the last year. It was the most generic electro house/progressive set I've seen man. Didn't get down with any hip hop at all. Me and my friend were yelling at him for not being fierce the whole set :lol

oh man see I'd figure that but in the back of my mind I'm hoping for his early 00's stuff or Progressions into Trance, one can hope

I did see him at a really bad venue so he might actually try there, you never know :lol

stayed in tn and have a case of insomnia

in the mood to explore some new tunes, anyone got some goodness to post?

Not sure what genre this would be considered, maybe electro/techno/electro-house, but for those that haven't heard of French producer Gesaffelstein:

i love the hard edge on his tracks

edit: and for good measure
