Is this real life? Vol. MW2

I was playing domination and this guy spawned right next to me in the beginning of the round so I shot him and killed him. Awarded me with 2516207 XP 

 and it COUNTED 

caught me off guard. Is this normal? Are they gonna take it away from me?

you can also kill urself with a grenade and get the points too
leave the lobby, prestige.. join session in progress... repeat... and get to 10th prestige
