Is there beef between j.cole an drake?

Isn't the whole point of getting a deal is to get exposure
(well not the whole point but you get it). We didn't know who ANYBODY was before they got a deal before Drake did it and its starting to happen more. (Wiz, Krit, etc.) The whole J.Cole is "all hype" is not true and yal all know it. When he got signed last spring nobody knew who he was, not even ppl from NC.. He built his rep up by himself, murdering features and putting out excellent music and now people know him. That had very little to do with his Roc Nation affiliation.
I love both Drake and J.Coles music but I prefer J.Cole. Also yal REALLY need to kill the Drake and Jay-Z comparisons...not even close.

(Just an observation) drake made a comment bout him Being Jay, and cole bein Nas... here on NT, the folks who prefer Nas, prefer Drake...those who prefer Jay take Cole. Is this a coincidence?

You can also make an argument that Nas can be boring at times...

cant believe some of yall calling the support J. Cole getting right now "hype"...like homebody is really poppin right now...dude is humbly on the rise, deserves the lil credit he is getting right now
Jay puttin J. Cole on in this time period is just another reason why dude is the greatest....u got these cats that sware NaS is the end all be all sayin J. Cole is "boring", when dude is the closet thing to NaS shooting for mainstream appeal in his generation of rappers
