Wait do some of ya'll just sit in a comedy club, laugh, and bounce without getting something that will help support the comic and get more comics there? Doesn't have to be a drink, essentially just means "buy something".

I'd rather the comic just put a hat on the edge of the stage and I'd throw a $20 or something in there. Or build the two drinks into the tickets price. It would just irk me knowing I'm handing off a $10 +tip for a gin and tonic

Went to a strip joint called Stiletto's in Atlantic City last year and it was BYOB. THAT is how it should be. We brought a cooler full of beer into that bish. Stage was loaded with $5, $10, $20 tips and it was basically an all out orgy. Two chicks were going on stage at a time and legit going at it.
