most people with a tv show on comedy central do a ton of interviews before

every season ...wether its kimmel, leno, conan, letterman, howard stern , joe rogan etc

podcast's , radio , late night show's , today show etc

he has one of  the most popular show's on cable and tosh.0

is like on its 6th season....dude doesn't even do interviews for

his stand up specials like chris rock, bill burr , louis ck etc

is there a reason dude is so secretive

i know he's really close friends with dom irrera but dom rarely

brings him up

he has pretty bad social anxiety. the Daniel Tosh we see on TV and in his stand up is a character he portrays to overcome it.

he's a pretty private dude from what I've read about him.

I can't imagine him even wanting to be taken seriously, especially with video clip show.

is doing interviews a requirement?  i've always wondered this especially with athletes

Didn't know that people with those clip shows go on to promote them on talk shows. Joel McHale does interviews but they're usually for Community or movies.

He's gay and prob doesn't want people asking him about gay rumors?

I saw him live and he was standing around after the show while everyone walked by him. Didn't seem strange at all. He made fun of me after I yelled some comments. It was awesome to be **** on by him :smokin

This was before he got super famous.

The best comedians usually got some issues anyway

Because he has the personality of a 3 day dead dog and the humor of a 12 year old boy on Xbox Live?

word.

this new generation of humor i do not get....

How do people become celebrities, that can't handle being a celebrity.

It's cats at my barbershop that need shows over this guy.

Be cracking up so hard I can barely get a cut.

Dudes show is essentially a one man live youtube commentary.

you see that was good ,

makes sense that he has a marketing degree

my original theory was he didn't want to make himself

seem vulnerable to the public because his comedy

is generally dark...if he's good guy tosh in real life

then it takes away from the comedy

anthony jeselnik does interviews on late night but

he's usually still in character , but you can catch him

on a podcast or two where he'll open up

every barber thinks they can be a comedian

offensive humor isn't really a new concept.

I know.

My experience kicking back and laughing at random vidz with friends is more fun than watching him do it. Honestly.

My issue is more with tv producers trying to appeal to a changing media market than a problem with him.

The other guy with the doug funny nose that has a similar show irks me as well. .

I just want them to stop trying to make it happen

I'm talking about the dudes that hang around as well.

You know, Bootleg Movie Man,The guy with the oil assortments, the car wash guy etc.

interview with marc maron

Do you get tired of constantly being bombarded via Twitter and e-mail with fans requesting guests for your show or do you appreciate that people are enjoying the program?

It gets a little annoying because a lot of people don't know whether I've had somebody on, and also people think I can get whoever I want, which isn't really the case. I'm generally always trying to get people on the show. You know, some suggestions are good, but most of the people they suggest are on my radar. Some aren't. It just becomes a little annoying when it's one after the other. This bombardment of guest suggestions. I'm doing the best I can here, and I don't have access to everybody. I can only do what I've got.

Yeah, that's understandable. So, who are the comedians you've chased and been unable to get to appear on the show?

Albert Brooks, I have not been able to get on the show. Larry David, I can't really seem to get through to. Daniel Tosh, he doesn't want to do it, not in a hostile way. He just doesn't wanna go that deep and he likes where he's at, and he likes having control over how people see him. I can understand that. That’s completely understandable…
