Is PS3 worth the buy?

I'm wondering if you already have the 360, is it justified to buy a PS3 too.  I already have the new 360 with Kinect.  Had it since the Kinect came out.  I wanted to get the PS3 for the Bluray and I just saw the Infamous 2 game in Best Buy and loved it. Wondering if it's worth it to own both.

I have both consoles and overall I say the 360 is better. The online may not be free but you can find a year subscription for $40. The interface on the xbox has more appeal and it's more user friendly. I don't remember the last time I turned on my ps3. For me, the xbox controller is better overall. Mostly like it because it fits my hand better than the ps3's and the triggers are great for FPS and Racing genres. As for game exclusives for both consoles the only game that I would play for the ps3 is metal gear, twisted metal and little big planet while xbox has halo, forza and fable.

If you're more into playing with your friends online you should see which console they own too. Sometimes it gets boring playing with random people.

P.S. Xbox 360 mics > PS3 mics (oh wait.)

xbox live isnt a waste though....

how many have yall have played xbox livne compared to playstation network.

the stuff is like night and day.

i have similar feelings when i go watch a game at my dad's house in HD...

then come home to my standard def tv...

feels kinda batman.

and that's a comparable difference between XBL and PSN...

^^ what's so funny, i know a few people with launch day ps3's ( phat ) that are still working

perfectly till this day, on the other hand everyone i know who owns a 360 has had their systems break multiple times.

one of my coworkers is on his fourth 360

Forza is good, Gran Tourismo is better IMO, though.
I use my 360 for FPS. My PS3 for everything else. I'd suggest a PS3.

i like my ps3 but psn is crap.  at least on black ops.  it's not so bad with other games.  i'd gladly pay a few bucks a month if they plushed it out like live is.

I just got a 360 and I've had a PS3 since 07 (which broke due to YLOD). I haven't really played online in XBL but I've heard the community is better. PSN was fine when my PS3 was working. Idk if i'll buy it at 299 now, maybe when it drops down to 199 then yeah. Really hesitant about getting my 40gb fixed cause I heard the YLOD is prominent with the older models smh.
