IS KOBE BRYANT...OVERRATED?

Its because of kobe the lakers beat portland and went to the finals. Kobe is a legit great, he can play against anyone and be dominant.

Besides, kobe is hardly ever gaurded 1 on 1. Definitely a goat type player

Definitely not overrated. Go back every 4 years and see who gets compared to Kobe and is "better than him." AI, VC, T-Mac, Ray Allen, etc and up until the last 3 years with Wade, KD, Lebron. The one consistent player that has been there for the last 15 years is Kobe. You can't overrate someone who has had such a long lasting and steady career.

Has he been a ball hog sometimes? Yes. Has he been fortunate? Yes. Has he won a lot. Yes. Has he put up the stats? Yes. Is he overrated? No. 

People will hate until years and years from now until they look back at his overall career. 

If Kobe is overrated then what does that mean for all the "superstars" that were along side him such as AI, VC, T-Mac, Ray Allen, Wade etc?

Ray Allen > Kobe, but he didn't have stacked lineups for 14 seasons.

Wade > Kobe, but didn't have stacked team for 14 seasons.

Those other guys are the same as Kobe, Iverson especially. If Bean had the same luck as Iverson, he would also be blackballed from the league.

kobe has been one of the top tier players since he came in the league. he's overrated to me when people compare him to the g.o.a.t. situations like when he quit against the suns in the playoffs or when the lakers got their backs blown out in game 6 of the 08 finals in a championship clinching game... but then they wana act like he's "omg so close to jordan he needs 1 more title!!!"

Jordan and Kobe are not "close" in greatness. still, kobe is elite. and a crying jealous btch who snitched on shaq.

but smh@ saying dwade, or ray allen are better. again, kobe's a btch and a snitch and even his parents hate him.

Naw the lakers just suck and Kobe is forced to do all the scoring, lakers need to trade Kobe and build around Howard while Kobe has value. I could see Kobe winning a championship with a different team of younger players like the clippers.
