Is it safe to say that Spongebob is pretty much carrying Nickelodeon right now?

MTV dont play music any more, but based on the last time i saw Nick now THEY do.

Nick got complacent, over-reliant on Spongebob, now its all they have. They must have made decent money from it over the years, but so far they've failedto invest
it in anything with any real immigation.

Some of their more recent programming is absolutely moronic.

Angry Beavers, Real Monsters are absolute classics. Ren and Stimpy deserves a nod too. Doug, Hey Arnold, were (imo) so so, but still better than any of thedrivel
they're shovelling these days.

I went on a Nickelodean Family Cruise 2 weeks ago and it's easy to see SpongeBob is the only true star. The other characters would walk around the ship anddo random photo ops but not SpongeBob..you had to go see him once at a specific time or kids would just maul him.

Kids know all the other characters though (the ones I saw on the cruise) so I guess they're doing something right

i was wondering what the difference was and why they're bringing it back in 2010 but saw the high school part.
hope they bring back Suzy Crabgrass

and Fairly Oddparents is/was a dope show, now it got weak when they added the baby in. but all the movies were dope.
Jimmy Neutron was nice as well, haven't seen anything new since the movie came out and the FO/JN collabo movies.


and i think they have less of a cartoon lineup to compete with Disney. Disney Channel is where all the lil kids and tweens are watching and i guess nick isjust trying to compete with other their shows.
