I've always wondered is it be possible for someone that was at a university to apply to another university as if they were going to be a freshman. You know use thier high school transcripts, SAT scores, etc. Can that happen? lol I think I asked this right but yeah, can it?

i need to know this as well...

the only way i think you could is if you never mention that you started college (ie dont show your transcripts. but why would you? you at least could use your GE classes...

I was thinking about this as well

I have a co-worker w. multiple masters degrees....

that's what I was thinking. I was talking to my co-workers about this the other day and I was like if you started fresh with just your high school records how would they know. Then couldnt you just transfer your credit hours later down the line?

I #%%%$# up my freshman year. Will be back in here

doubt it how are you gonna get new SATs and stuff. and i think after you take SATS or before you pick which schools you apply to etc etc

just go to a community college for a semester or two and get your act together

I know someone that did. They ended up going to Fordham Law School. Pretty impressive story.

Its all in your willpower and determination.

What was their reason for starting over?

its def not a waste of time my man...f what these dudes livin off their parents think..in the real world, at 17 or 18...ALOT of things came before college nd im speaking off experience...some cats just take a while to get their act together...

to answer your question, its possible, but your gonna need a reeeeaaaal cool counselor to do it..one who doesnt mind putting themselves out there a little...i applied to tcc fresh out the army(20 years old) went two semesters basically jus smoked, chased girls, worked waaay harder at my job than i did at school...my dude started NSU(Norfolk State) and told me about a real cool advisor that put him on...i went in their with all the official stuff i needed, he looked at my SAT scores, said they were good enough to get accepted, told me he'd make it so that the community college stint didnt happen...and i never looked back..

its not a waste of time, it can be done, if they say no do like other cats said get a small lil loan, do two semesters at a community college in FIEND MODE, get crack grades, transfer to university...comin from where im from, dudes pick up and drop college like a bad habit...jus the nature of the beast..im 22 right now, 23 next month, technically considered a first semester sophomore, and i aint mad at how i made it..

If you dont list any previous institutions on your application then I dont see much of an issue. It might get tricky when it comes to Financial Aid though.. Omitting information from your app is just as bad as falsifying in my experience working in an admissions office.
