Is Chick-fil-A THAT good?

Do y’all have small non chain specialty restaurants that make chicken sandwich’s around you?

I have like two around me and their sandwiches run circles around chick Fila and it’s not even close.
I will GLADLY buy from small shops/delis/whatever.
We have some, but they are of course more expensive.

EYE don't think the difference in price matches the distance in between the quality.

But I don't eat CFA often at all, so it is still very good each time I have IT.
It's not about the price increase being a huge jump in quality. To me the quality is a little better whereas the price is a lot higher. 'A little' obviously doesn't match 'a lot', but I'm not looking for a perfect 1:1 ratio in quality to price increase. I much prefer these smaller shops where I know who owns them and I'd rather support their business over helping whoever is at the top of CFA.

They’re really different tastes. Popeyes also has more products (actual chicken and southern sides).

You mainly go to Chik Fil A for the sandwich. The lines have remained consistent.

The lines around the debut of the Popeyes Chicken Sandwich have definitely died down.

The spicy from Cfa has more seasoning. Popeyes is almost bland. The crunch is better though.

I only go to CFA for the og sandwich and mac n cheese. Don’t care much for the waffle fries if I’m being honest. I like Popeyes too but there’s like 3 CFA’s to the 1 Popeyes in my area and I’m not going out of my way for it. Funny that Popeyes is a ghost town again after the sandwich hype died but CFA stays flooded.

Popeyes is always packed around here!

In Georgia Popeyes gets lumped in with the other thousand chicken spots that are on every strip mall(and they're all good.) Sometimes I forget they sell chicken sandwiches, I spent my whole life going there for a 2pc, biscuit and dirty rice.

Popeyes is/was usually packed on Tuesdays. ChikFila is almost 24/6 with little down time(drive thru at least every time I pass by).
I like Popeyes better, but I respect what ChikFilA brings.
From my perspective, there's a different target consumer between the two companies as well.

Popeyes crunch and skin can be od at times. Sometimes I just want as little in the batter as possible

If I'm at Popeye's I'm getting chicken with a bone in it. If it's boneless Chick-fila dog walking them.

This peach shake only solidifies Chick-fil-A's spot as the best fast food shake.

Don't remember it being $5.19 though

Them and Shake Shack. Haven't had either in years though and need to try them again to compare.
