Yeah I've heard of this happening too. Had a friend tell me they refused to do his sandwich well done because of how busy the store was.

They both can be good with either being better depending on preference. I don't see how it's inconceivable to acknowledge if someone likes one or the other.

Amazing that you think it is fried too hard. I think thr exact opposite.

Perspective.

I will say that the, "new toy" idea might elevate what folks really think of Popeyes.

Hopefully we can judge the real competition a few months from now.

Took my aunt to get blood work done and after she wanted to try the breakfast McChicken biscuit (she thought it had sauce lol). I got the mcgriddle since I'm there. The spice and sweet worked good but I wouldn't order again since they're small, need 3 to be full. Save the $2 for Popeyes sandwich later better.
I told her I'm getting her Popeyes to try. She's picky on some things so she might not like the pickles. Maybe I'll stop by CFA too since I haven't had in awhile.

I don't eat pork, so I like this and the Steak, Egg and Cheese Bagel. I really only mess with McDonald's for their breakfast and their fries.

Waiting in line at the one on Fulton st in Manhattan. This mac n cheese better be worth it. But I’m dyin for a chicken sandwich so I’ll wait

Sold out at Popeyes so went to CFA. Drive thru was a breeze but the chick (teen) taking order outside seem like she doesn't want to be there understandably so standing outside although under an umbrella
Sandwich was meh for the price. Waffle fries was okay with the Polynesian sauce.
Second visit and will be my last.

KFC's original breading looks better than this
