Google it...I can't give you the step by step instructions. All I know was that it involved replacing .aif files with .caf and adding into the same folderon your phone where the text message sounds are.

1. First create a custom IPSW using the IPSW Builder.
2. Click "Ipwner" and browse for the custom IPSW that you just created. This will pwn itunes and allow you to flash custom IPSW files via DFU mode
3. Once you have pwned Itunes, put your phone into DFU mode. If you don't know how to do this click here.
4. Once you are in DFU mode Itunes will pop up and then you can hold shift and click restore and browse to your custom IPSW file.
5. Done!

[h3]Important Notes[/h3]Remove Winpwn 1.0 completely if you have it installed. Installing over the top of WinPwn 1.0 will cause problems.
Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes (currently 7.7).
If you already have service with AT&T do not activate or install Youtube Fix. Thanks again for all those who supported me. WinPwn was made possible by PlanetBeing, Squpix and the dev team ( Especially Wizdaz, MuscleNerd, Gray, Pumpkin, bgm, roxfan ). These are instructions on how to jailbreak your 2.0, 3G iPhone using Windows and WinPwn.

To follow this tutorial you will need to have iTunes 7.7 installed (make sure to reboot). Also, you may need to download and install .Net Framework if you are on Windows XP.

Step One
Create a folder on your desktop called Pwnage. In it place WinPwn 2.0 and the latest 2.0 firmware.

Step Two
Install WinPwn by extracting the downloaded zip from Step One and running the setup executable. Once WinPwn has been installed it will put a shortcut icon on your desktop. Double click to launch the application.


Step Three
Once WinPwn has opened click the Browse .ipsw button.


Step Four
Locate the 2.0 firmware file (iPhone1,1_2.0_5A347_Restore.ipsw) from the Pwnage folder on your desktop and click Open.


Step Five
WinPwn will check the firmware to make sure its valid. Now click the IPSW Builder button.


Step Six
The IPSW Builder window will open to the Applications tab. Check to select Cydia and if you are not on AT&T then check to select YouTube Fix.


Step Seven
Click to select the Custom Images tab. From here you can can select
your own boot images.


Step Eight
Click to select the Custom Payload tab. From this tab you can select custom payloads you have created to be automatically installed. We will discuss this in a future tutorial.


Step Nine
Click to select the Advanced tab. Check to select: Activate Phone.


Step Ten
Click the Build .ipsw button at the bottom left to build your custom ipsw firmware file. Navigate to your Pwnage folder and click the Save button.

What did you do to the phone?

I didn't do anything that I'm aware of. However, I just checked it out right now and it's fine. While I'm at home, I'm connected toa wi-fi network and the videos look clear. I was on a 3G network before and the videos looked blurry. Should the network connection make a difference?

^ yeah the network matters. Wi-fi is much faster so the videos will be full quality, however on 3g or edge they need to reduce quality so the videos can beplayed without having to wait 2 years

I have a question I installed apps on my phone from my phone but I went to sync the phone and it came up to transfer apps to my computer and I think it did itbut when I try to use the apps on the phone after syncing the apps open up and then close after a couple seconds...why is that?
