How did not recognize it was in neighborhood? He sounded surprised as hell.

Pretty sure he did, but the driver was taking mad random turns in to narrow streets and what not. the tv broadcast will be a few seconds delayed from what is happening in real life as well & it is at night so its harder to tell where he is.
