There's a book by Manly P. Hall called The Secret Teachings of All Ages that sheds some light on this subject among other things. It's a pretty dope book.

Taschen just did a re-release of it that goes for $500.

Really enjoy Manly P Hall. The audio book is on YouTube but to be honest that particular book is limited in that it covers so many different things that it doesn't go into great depth on anything in particular. But he does have literally 100s of hours of lectures on YouTube as well that go into greater detail on just about every occult topic you could think of. I learned so much from him, I'd highly recommend checking him out.

One of the best things about that book is the original artwork. A lot of the newer editions don't have it or only have parts of it. The original is pretty amazing but hard to get a hold of.

Aren't black fraternities and sororities considered a part of black history and culture? Or is there another part of history you feel should be more embraced? Post civil rights? Pre slavery? Because alot of that in between is lost, obscured or too dark. Difficult for blacks folks to trace back individual or family history the way white folks can. I dont really see other races embracing their history or culture like that anyway, unless their parents or grandparents were immigrants.

Is this really an issue or is it just a niche group of people that are really holding on to that fraternity/sorority life? Seems like mainly an east coast thing. Irregardless, that sense of community or brotherhood they have amongst other black folks exclusively should be a positive thing, whereas the posts are implying its a negative thing.

The guy in the second tweet was making some great, insightful points. It is slightly bizarre how entrenched our people become; it is another firm of division.
Just listening to the conviction of the guy addressing druski... He's legitimately speaking as if someone threatened his mother. He wants to fight a comedian over a skit. Think about that.

Back in 2015, I caught a shoplifting case and had to do 15 hours Community Service in exchange to get charges dropped. They gave me a list of non-profit organizations I could do in 3 hour sessions.

Habitat for Humanity sounded kind of interesting, they fix up homes for elderly people that can't afford repairs. The house that they sent me to was originally built in 1930 and had last been renovated in the 1970s.

So anyways I get there early my first day, and besides me there's this old white dude chain-smoking Marlboros. We get to talking, he had originally done 5 years in the Navy and got a reputation for cutting hair. When he got out in the 80s, he transitioned to doing women's hair and became a master in color jobs and started raking in money...he first bought the salon he worked at, then bought the building the Salon rented.

At this point (early 00s), he got invited into the Masons because of his status in the community.

Despite being in his 60s, dude was busting his ***. We were knocking down the walls because the insulation which was cutting edge for 75' had degraded, even with a brand new heater installed it the warmest it would get was 60 degrees. He explained the R values of insulation and how every 15 years the Foam keeps getting more and more efficient with vapor barrier technologies. He was saying when he was a Kid, there was no requirement. Then when he bought his first house they had passed a building code that the walls be insulated. And nowadays, the reason new home prices are so expensive is because the whole house is insulated, ceiling, floors and walls.

Dude was a Trump fanatic though...he had a 3 piece ear ring, one stud was white, the other were red and blue. But he did have a solid grasp on the Republican policies and how it would benefit everything from the economic infrastructure, to crime/social issues.

He was cool though, he basically said he rents chairs out to younger chicks and they pay him $1200 a month so essentially he is a "Pimp".
