I see people are back on their Pyramid scheme grind. Vol. 5Linx

maaaaaaan i got sooooo many stories about shh like this. :lol i'll share two, i didn't join by the way and never had any thought at all of ever joining. if you have a little street smart in you, you already know this shh is just a f'ed up way of "making money"

first of all, it sucks to see sooo many people getting suckered into this by people selling them a dream. "you should be here" "i got a bmw for free" "im making blah blah blah a month doing shh"

if you wanna make real good money in this, and yes you possibly can, a 0.3% chance :lol , you will find yourself desperate to get anyone, and i mean anyone to join. youll be manipulating close friends and family just to build your pyramid to collect bonus and residuals. smh. :{

over 70% dont make money or actually lose money, and the rest barely make a few scraps, then you have the 0.3 percent who honestly make bank. those people who just tell you "your lazy thats why you dont make money" is not true. its just cuz you dont wanna lose your f'in dignity selling bs. who wants to be the dude at a family party that you gotta stay away from cuz they gonna annoy the shh outta you with a "opportunity of a lifetime" ill rather be the drunk uncle who keep shh real.

story one, some kid i came across with a few years ago, mutual friends. were friends on facebook and shh. i see he "works" for primerica. :x im thinking he better not ever contact me with that bs. and of course, a few months ago, i get a phone call some an unknown number. its homeboy. we talk and hes asking how im doing, etc. in my head im like wtf, completely forgetting hes a primerica guy. he starts asking hows everyone doing, hows your church (youth group affiliates, i learned my lesson), school, etc. then he hits me with the im trying to open up some offices around your area for my company and i want to expand. asks me if im interested. told him no thanks cuz im busy and shh. it clicked to me, PRIMERICA F OUTT HEAR B. says he wanna go out for dinner to talk about it. told him im at work and had to go. for weeks he keeps hitting my phone and leaving voicemails. had to block his fake friend ***.

story two, im going to school for physical therapy. i completed all my pre reqs and shh. now i gotta get in the program and whatever. one of the requirements is complete 50 hours of volunteer work at a rehab center. so boom i hit my girl to ask her aunt if i can volunteer at her job since shes a physical therapist. bet im in there my first day. im chillin helping her out when outta no where shes like, "i got an idea" im like "cool whats up?" i have a good opportunity for you and *my gfs name*. when are you free?" i say next monday night is good. im thinking we gonna have a nice fam dinner at their house or suttin and she gonna make me look good for her family. you know, like look out for me, it'll be a good look. mannnnn listen i found thru the grape vine this shhh was just going to be a meeting about world wide ventures. not a family dinner so i can look good for her family, but WORLD ******* WIDE VENTURES. heated wasnt the word b. >: so basically i didnt show up. with me not showing up that made her know i dont play that shh. but she hit me with the"if you go to the meeting i will sign off on your volunteer papers and you wont have to complete them, just go to the meeting."

i figure, two hours of listening to bs, or 50 hours of boring volunteer work. of course i said okay and went to the meeting. i aint tryna be stuck doing volunteer work. :lol

so the meeting. man they make that shhh sound soo good. i could feel everyone being suckered into it by the minute. during the meeting he calls on me and asks how much i payed for my sneakers and i say 170 (rockin my grapes), then he goes "with WWV you can have many more sneakers!!". EVERYONE STARTS CLAPPING. im like what kind of shh is this?!?!?! IM DYING ON THE INSIDE. fast forward to the end of the meeting, he asks everyone one by one if they wanna make money, of course everyone says" yes" with enthusiasm and im like, "ugh i guess". then its like everyone goes in the back to sign up and im the only one that doesnt sign up. but best believe i got my volunteer papers signed off. :rollin so shout outs to WWV ventures for that.

Just had a European girl come to my door this week asking me to buy magazines to support her scholarship. :{

I'm 100% sure a lot of my senior citizen neighbors signed up too

This stuff is crazy man, there are several people i just got in contact with that i havent spoken to in years and they all hit me with this stuff. I cant bring myself to believe that there are this many people that believe these things actually work. I understand that its rather easy convincing someone in a messed up economic situation but alot of the people i know personally that are in these mlm's are doing pretty okay for themselves. I just dont get it.

The bottom 70% is paying for the lifestyle of the top 30. It's sad that people fall into these traps.

Gotta ask yourself "what type of business wants me to pay my way in to their company?"

I can't get away from these ppl. One hit me on FB, another messaged me on LinkedIn and I got a call from a random *** number trying to get me to come to a meeting.

This is crazy and I'm antisocial as a MF. I can only imagine how'd bad it'd be if I actually knew a lot of ppl.

One of my friends I knew since jr. High had the nerve to hit me up and chill only to sell me the world venture crap. Told dude I didn't have the money, he said you can put it on your credit card -_-. Recently he put up a picture up on ig, he put his moms under him :{

My homeboy's brother does the Primerica thing part time. He being going hard for it too lol. He say he make about $600/month off of the insurance policies he write.
I see the WakeUpNow thing a ton on my instagram feed, and the funny thing is that the people who were going hard for it a few months ago no longer post about it. 5 Links, Motor Club of America, and Vector the only other MLM schemes i've heard about. The other ones mentioned throughout the thread must not be big in my area yet. At least with Primerica and Vector, they are actually selling something from my understanding. Don't really understand where the money for WakeUpNow for example is coming from.

My cousins been hounding me down for a meeting about some thing called

"live95" free beemers yadda yadda yadda.

I tried to drop knowledge but got called a hater.

Kaylin Garcia just posted that she joined the wake up now team. Apparently they got Juelz, Jimmy and Chingy as well lol. I wonder are people REALLY making money off of this.

Lol I see those folks on the Primerica tip always posting inspirational shh. On IG.

Just find #primerica as a tag on IG then look at some of the folks and the rest of their posts.. It'd funny and sad at same time

Its funny how people believe that since a celebrity is down with the movement then that automatically means that its legit.. all they could be doing is holding a sign for all i know. this wakeupnow thing better work

Can't believe people fall for this ****. Lazy *** ****** and their get rich quick schemes. SMH. The only way you're makin good money off this is if you're an attractive female and can sucker some lames into giving you their money.

Latest one that tried my patience = World Ventures

Selling "cheap" flights & hotel stays

I just went to a meeting for World Ventures the other night. Only reason why I went was cause the chick that "invited" me made it seem like we were going on a date or somethin. Chick was all like "come pick me up at my house lets go out for some drinks". I get to the house and see a bunch of people standing around and I was like "damn u got a big family" then she goes "oh this ain't my family this isn't even my house we waiting for the meeting to start" I was just there like [emoji]128530[/emoji]. These chicks be trifling man.

And at the end of the meeting the dude went around the room and asked all the new potential recruits if they wanna join the team. I was the only one that saw thru the BS and said no. Everyone looked at me like I was crazy lol
Marlboro firm charged with running billion-dollar scam
A Marlboro firm is charged with running a billion-dollar pyramid and Ponzi scheme that targeted Brazilian immigrants, Secretary of State William F. Galvin said.
TelexFREE’s alleged scam, outlined in an civil administrative complaint filed by Galvin’s office, was built around 99TelexFREE, software that allows people to make phone calls over the Internet. The complaint says investors were asked for either $289 or $1,375 in exchange for activation of the programs and the company’s advertisement kit.

The investors posted pre-written ads on certain websites and received guaranteed yearly returns as high as 250 percent; they also were offered commissions and bonuses to recruit new investors, the complaint says.

“Without the multi-level marketing scheme, however, TelexFREE sales of the 99TelexFREE program alone would be impossible to satisfy guaranteed weekly commission and bonus payments to promoters,” the complaint said.

“Pyramid schemes are nothing new, nor are schemes that target a specific group, but modern communications gives them instant world-wide scope,” Galvin said in a statement. “This case, which evokes Charles Ponzi’s original overseas postal reply coupon scam of the 1920s, demonstrates the persistence of the schemes and the schemers.”

A company representative did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

TelexFREE-held extravaganzas, “often taped and posted online, were complete with a rock-concert atmosphere and wild cheering, including the ‘wave,’” according to the complaint.

In promotion of its ad sales packages, TelexFREE cited Sanderley R. DeVasconcelos, AKA Sann Rodrigues, as its “Top Promoter in the World,” Galvin said, In 2006, Sann Rodrigues was held liable in U.S. District Court for operating a fraudulent phone card scheme targeting the same Brazilian-American community, he said.

Last summer, Brazilian authorities froze TelexFREE operations and funds for allegedly conducting a pyramid and Ponzi scheme in Brazil.

The complaint says TelexFREE, because of financial troubles, “made several changes to its once wildly popular passive income scheme,” barring participants from withdrawing money before they make a specified number of retail sales and recruiting a quota of investors.

TelexFREE filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in Nevada this week.

You guys ever hear of DrinkACT?
It was some energy drink I saw some fools trying to sling on Facebook.
Same story, different 'product'.... go on cruises, achieve free cars.
One of their 'Master Distributors', can now be seen dishing out some MLM coffee sales. :{
"How would like to earn .10 every time someone drinks a cup of coffee?!" ..... :rolleyes

Dude tried to get me on the train a few years ago, he knew someone I knew and I gave him my number. My man called me like 20 times in one week, had to curve him and everyone else trying to bs me

Just gonna post these here. A bit of exaggeration and stereotype being used, but not far from how a lot of these people can be sometimes.

Easy to spot some of them since almost no one ever wears a suit in Hawaii.

Main problem I have is that a lot of them don't seem to have good people skills or handle rejection well so they get really pushy when you turn them down. Either that, or they start getting all judgmental and cocky once they make some money (or get born-again).
