I never knew that......

I think it's meant to just cover expenses, and you use it to help your career.

The Superbowl halftime show is unpaid. Lady Gaga announced her worldwide tour minutes after her parformance, and was back in the spotlight.

I think it has more to do with status and reputation for those gigs. What Jimmy Kinmel is hosting again or something? the jokes, pop culture insight previously established relationships with celebrities all play a part. Plus they're rich already so it's not a big deal to them.

Speaking of Hollywood payments....

SAG or the Screen actors guild is the union of the actors, Hollywood to D level budget type of films. You get paid your amount. You are union after all.

Captain Phillips, the movie about Tom Hanks and the Somali pirates has the one main African that was nominated for his supporting role (the one who said "I'm the captain now") was a limo driver from Minneapolis when he got the role when he went with a friend because his friend was nervous. (Dude didn't audition and got the role lol). If you get a role in a major feature film the minimum base payment is $60k for the entire amount of the filming. Dude spent all the money within a year and he's back doing his Day job.

Another story, Johan Hill wanted to work with Martin Scorsese so badly on wolf of Wall Street he demanded to cut his pay to the 60k minimum.

And another one; In the first avengers movie iron man got paid 50mil while captain America got paid 2mil

twitter has a character limit of 140. videos max out at 2:20. that 140 seconds.

I was under the impression that halftime artists pay the NFL.

Neil Tyson: Aliens probably haven't landed on Earth yet, because there's so much debris around it.

No aliens were trying to visit Earth in 1917.

They would have roasted our Tech.

why the coke at mcdonalds tastes better than anywhere else

At Mickey D’s, something is different about the most popular beverage on the planet. The Coca-Cola tastes way better in the shadow of Ronald McDonald than it should. And it definitely tastes better than it does when it’s poured out of a humble can at home. At least it seems like it does. Are we crazy or what?

Does it really taste better or is it just your mind playing tricks on you? According to Spoon University, You’re not losing your marbles yet. Coke really does taste better at McDonald’s and it’s not just because anything tastes better when pa

It all starts with the delivery: Instead of shipping the delicious, brown soda in plastic bags like the other fast food chumps, McDonald’s opts for stainless steel containers. This guarantees freshness and likely (based on no evidence) makes it so it doesn’t taste like the inside of a plastic bag.

Another reason it tastes better is because of the filtration process. McDonald’s takes great pride in guaranteeing that they have the freshest filtered water. The better the filtration, the less strange flavors will be added to the mix. That’s a good thing because all we want to taste is sweet, sassy Coke. Not old, stinky water.

To keep Coke as fresh as possible, McDonald’s even runs the beloved soda through insulated pipes to the drive-thru window’s soda fountain. They realized that to create the perfect version of Coke, the temperature must be just slightly over freezing. The Big Mac overlords also chill the syrup before mixing everything together.

son, they've been here hundreds, thousands of years ago. We have ancient landing pads and all that. Hieroglyphics that look like ufo and helicopters.
The ancient gods were aliens, hell the religion in India depicts a battle of God's in the sky but the description sounds a lot like air crafts dogfighting shooting rockets. There's another incident of this in like 1600 over germany, there's a painting of it too
