I never knew that......

For some reason, my friends from Shanghai told me that Pizza Hut, KFC, and some other spots are top notch. They told me it's wayyyy more expensive than here as well.

I can vouch for Pizza Hut at least. when I would go to Europe to travel I quickly learned that restaurant and public food world isn't the same. Well for one thing if you buy a drink from a supermarket over there it'll be barely over a tad bit cold compared to getting a freezing cold coke at the gas station here. Also at restaurants they'll serve you a drink in a cup about 5/7 filied with only like 2 ice cubes, you pay for refills. obviously we top everything off in the good 'ol US of A. Went to Pizza Hut for the first time in England to find out it was an actually sit down restaurant :eek and the food customs like the ones I just mentioned are exactly like home. went there like 4 times in 3 weeks:lol

L, i dont drink that much pop anyways, but **** that

second part is half way right, in restaurants, theres free refills, but even there, they give you a glass full of ice and a little bit of pop

at fast food chains, the cup ALWAYS has a ton of ice, so toppin the cup off is hardly anything, i always ask for no ice at places like mcdonals/checkers/etc. because by the time i go for a second sip its basically 2 parts water 1 part pop
