He was larger than life to any kid who was alive in the 80s and watched wrestling.

It's a shame he ended being a lot closer to his Hollywood Hogan persona in real life.

Definitely a huge part of my childhood as well... hope he was at peace b4 he left because his public image was tarnished heavily for a while....

I'm a 80s baby and HH was larger than life... I never even thought race as a kid. I always thought he was black.. he had the crazy tan, he was darker than me, he wore a bandana , a gold chain and called everybody brother...

Lolololololol, baby face or heel, Hulk was the man.... he couldn't wrestle worth a lick but he knew how to work the crowd
