How to store Air Jordans ?

Is there a trick to keep the shoes mint while in my closet(I heard that they can go bad even in these conditions) I keep them all in their boxes and fold the paper on the bottom and put the shoes on top .
I have the AJ
III(2011 release)-IV(2007-2012 release)-V(2006)-XII(2012)-XIV(2006)-XIX(CDP) and the XX's(2005)

It depends on the jordan. if its a clear sole, ill place it in a ziplock bag and place another dark bag over it. and keep the original box and store in a dark cool place. take the shoe out occasionally. once again depends on the jordan Viii aqua i stuff the crap out of it with socks and i strap it back up no ziplock bag but i place in original box.

Don't leave your shoes any where the sun might hit them, don't take your shoes in and out of it's boxes after wearing them to store them back in the original box. I say this because the moisture is now on your shoe, regardless if it's wet or not. Putting your shoes that have been exposed to moisture will just make your shoes yellow, crumble whatever. Unless you have a pack or two of silica in there. People say take the paper out, some say leave it in. I leave it in 'cause that's my choice. Don't zip lock your shoes because they need to breathe! They will crumble if left in there long enough!
