Nice write up, yeah definitely don't be tempted by a drop in price or a "deal".

Take a step back and really examine the shoes.

If it's too good to be true, you know the rest...

can anyone see if these are fake or not?

The shoes on those pictures are legit but I still think you will receive a pair of fakes if you buy them.

Why?
First of all, 70 euros for a deadstock pair of Indy's? Nah don't think so. Impossible. It just doesn't happen.

More importantly, those pictures are also used in this listing http://www.ebay.com/itm/12155691161...l?_from=R40&_sacat=0&_nkw=121556911615&_rdc=1 from someone in the UK. (That's a US12 while your ad says a EUR 42 = US8.5.)

Same seller? Seems very unlikely to me. So 1 of the 2 isn't using his own pictures. I think the PT guy isn't. Not the first time people stealing pictures for their own ads.

If you want to buy a deadstock pair, be prepared to pay at least 400/500 euros, maybe a bit less for pairs that have been worn once or twice. But not 70.

to help shut down this thread (because it's really obvious to tell real ones from fakes), just compare the mesh and tongue to this photo:

the real ones (shown above) have a tighter/thinner mesh pattern, which makes the mesh look darker.

also compare the mesh pattern on the tongue as well as flag size.

Except the ones in your pic there are fake dude....tut tut.

looks legit to me, can you explain to me modzy why they look fake

the sizing from the flag is correct, toebox shape is correct, they have used the right mesh

My bad on those. Front accent eyelets appeared to be in the wrong spot on my little phone screen. Blew the pic up and can see it better.
