great marketing like with any other social network site. When you have news agencies wanting feedback from their viewers on twitter or stores highlightingtheir new inventory or sales then popularity starts to spread.

I'm so sick of these "social networking" aka stalker drama websites. When will it stop? I have a myspace and i only have about 20 friends, ibarely go on it. Real life friends as so out of style i guess.

some celebs post some funny *!##.

and actually some friends and random people do too...

its kinda like a quick update. I use it to post brief opinions or random !#@ comments. Thats what most use it for. I was like ya'll though; thought twitterwas just facebook status's. Its no big thing really...its just eh, something to do when you're bored in class or w/e
