Yup, or any JC in Cali. Then transfer with a decent GPA and meet all the other prerequisites that would get you into SDSU.

My cousin tried to do the same thing applying for a school in Florida, applied as in state with another relatives address, etc.
DIDN'T WORK
how'd they find out?
I'm guessing by looking at his previous schools and transcript papers. I could be wrong.

Don't you have to have at least a year of residency in that state to be considered for in-state tuition?

i'm considering the CC route.

are you granted state residency after a year, or do you have to apply for it?

Even out of state CC is pretty expensive, well here in WA that is. Maybe you should do that first, get your grades up and take the necessary prereqs and transfer. It's easy to F around and stay in CC for mad long if you don't have a goal, I've seen it happen to too many people I know lol, just stay focused, know what classes your desired college requires, and do work!

i plan on staying in school until the economy rebounds, which could take forever.

with that being said, i'm willing to do what it takes, even student loans. i'm gonna be in debt forever anyway.
