Great to move on to the second round, and whether it's the Clips or Spurs, it'll be a tough series, one that'll need everything from the 1st round corrected. We played very well for 3 of the 5 games this series. Perimeter defense, FTs, and consistent rebounding. Anytime either of Dwight/Jones/Smith/Capela are on the floor, they have to be monsters at rebounding, both on the offense, and defense. Something good is brewing, and we have a chance to do something great here.

As far as this series directly, I applaud the Mavs for the fire and heart they showed when the Rockets didn't always show the same. However, their fans can flush themselves down the toilet. Their arrogant self-entitled dumpster juice ***** can go back to the drawing board and see what other washed players they can put around Dirk. I completely loathe Mark Cuban. He embodies everything I hate in a person, and in the city of Dallas. I can't stand whiny, piss on the lips, arrogant folks, as he is one of them, and their city is full of the same.

always been wary of playing the clippers, because we always struggle against them. pretty much guaranteed a bad game from harden when they're on the schedule, but after watching last night, i would really prefer to avoid the spurs...just because pop has absolutely no shame in using hack-a-_____. ******* awful to watch and it was working for them.

regardless, it's going to be a tough series, but if we can play hard for 48 minutes a night and not play lazy/lackadaisical and stand around watching, then we have a shot. also, need to cut down on the turnovers, because yesterday was absolutely horrendous. we got bailed out by dallas being unable to hit ANYTHING and capitalizing off all our stupid mistakes/passes.

Who do yall prefer for the 2nd round and why?

Clippers...

We match up much better with them but the main reason why I would prefer the Clippers is the main reason they won't beat San Antonio...they are horrible down the stretch. Watched every game of that series and if the clips could execute in the 4th Quarter they'd be up 3-1 right now.

2nd round is going to be tough man, no matter who we play. We (Ariza, Harden, etc) have got to play better and bring it every night.

Sometimes I prefer the Clippers, no bench, Doc, no lockdown defender on Harden. Then I realize they got Blake and DeAndre with Chris Paul.
Sometimes I prefer the Spurs, older, more role players. Then I realize they got Pop, a bench, and Kawhi on Harden, which scares me.


My preference changes every day but it doesn't matter, it's going to be tough. Plus side with getting the Spurs is i'll be able to go to a game 3/4 in SA. City sucks but away playoff games are fun.

deandre to match up with dwight. blake gives our 4s trouble. no one to guard chris paul. redick always torches us.
on the flip, they have no depth whatsoever exlcuding jamal crawford (who we also routinely get torched by), and they have no defender for harden.

Spurs
Popovich.
Kawhi, Danny Green, and hell even patty mills and corey joseph give harden a tough time. also hack a ____________
however, they have trouble with dwight and playing above the rim. we lost a game to them by a point on a tim duncan block, and the other we turned it over 20 times and missed 20 free throws and barely lost.


either way, 2nd round is gonna be a nightmare. game 1 is may 4th. my 2nd final is may 5th :x

personally, I wanna see the spurs 

If we beat the spurs, that will be a big confidence booster 

although they are coached well, got deeper bench, I think Parker's health is questionable so we might have a chance..

Besides our pg/pf are our weakest, Parker/Timmy>Paul/Griffin in terms of match ups

We just don't match up well with clips for some reason, just my opinion 

Feels good to be out the first round fellas, after last years disappointment

QFT, glad to be done with academics. J-Crossover is basically the new "Rocket Killer" but he's been hurt. Good amount of days off for scouting, FT practice, and for rest. Ariza needs it man, he looks sluggish, but he's also played a ton of minutes playing defense on basically the #1 option.

One of the most hypersensitive reactions I've seen. The fact that Mavs players were offended by cartoon emojis shows that they are softer than people could ever think Dwight is.

They do play beautiful basketball and move the ball around like a mf but I could see us winning that series only if Harden and Howard step they **** up to another level. Other guys gotta play there part also
