Looking to partner with a local sneaker head on a JV in town. Open to any ideas and would like to work with a college student.

consignment is totally different from getting any nike account, be it nike sb or what not. i dont even think consignment has anything to do with nike as they are only providing the service. if they are buying the products and reselling, i think thats when nike steps in and messes around. i could be wrongthere are several consignment shops throughout houston... and yes a jb account is hard to obtain especially for limited releases. Ive always been interested in the idea as well...
I was referring to the guy saying they're only one consignment shop...
Easiest thing to do is talk to a owner of a shop that has a account... Back in 07 I had a chance to talk to the rep that deals with active athlete when a friend was trying to get a store going and the rep acted as if it was no big deal.
how much capital is capital. there's going to be a saturation point. i think at this point, leaping into a sneaker game 3-4 years late wouldn't be a great play. especially in houston, everyone is pretty cheap in houstonHMMM, MIGHT HAVE TO LOOK INTO THIS. I ALREADY HAVE THE CAPITAL TO OPEN ONE, JUST NEED THE CONNECT.
