HOLIDAY 2021 - Cool Grey 11

From nike's standpoint, there's no benefit from a pre-order system. People not getting their pairs is not a Nike problem, they're still getting their money at the end of the day and hype is continuously generated to keep upcoming releases selling out.

There’s really nothing bizarre about it though. It would be like drug dealers giving out free crack to the most loyal crack fiends or letting them skip the line or something.
As much as I would like and benefit from it, from a business perspective it makes no sense for Nike to have a customer loyalty program.

Also, it’s far from perfect but SNKRS remains the most reliable place for buying Nike sneakers. There’s no riddles to solve, no drawing pictures around cats. Just show up at 10am join the draw and see what happens. Even though everyone has low success rate, you don’t have to invest any time or energy into it. I think everyone gets hyped when they see that got ‘em screen too.
I don't think SNKRS is the most reliable method, but they definitely keep up to date with keeping bots out. Most reliable has proven to be a separate domain and maybe even a question. Union method ftw

what's the best way to get these? I think the bred 11's we're the last J's I bought and I paid resale on those.

It’s a problem when loads of loyal consumers become disillusioned and fed up, and start to migrate away from the brand, as even Nike has finally acknowledged internally.

Sure, yet these releases still sell out.

Sure, yet these releases still sell out.
They sell out today. Nothing about the future is guaranteed. As difficult as it is today to imagine retro Jordans, especially certain models, not being highly sought after forever, it can happen easier than you might think. Before The Last Dance and pandemic, and within just the past few years, it had gotten relatively pretty easy to get just about anything. Even on SNKRS for a lot of stuff. I was hitting on almost everything on SNKRS (shock drop and regular release for two pairs of playoff IVs, for example) and if I went to my local mall, I literally can't remember the last shoe pre-Last Dance/pandemic I couldn't get for retail with minimal effort going back to 2016.
Nike held that internal summit that was reported by Complex or whoever because obviously it recognizes that people are unhappy with the state of things, and even cited data that said consumers were switching to other brands out of frustration. You best believe Nike takes that dead seriously, and it should.

It's already heading back that way honestly. You do have to play games for some of the very sought after releases but lately all the Jordans are a walk in the park again. Sitting all over malls if you take the time to go dig around. Sure I might lose the raffle but I can just go buy it at the store anyway lol.

It's all messed up and poorly organized but it's mostly a mirage. At least in my experience.

EVERYBODY?
