Hi Everyone,

I know other members already mentioned this but I managed to hit on a few pairs and I noticed some serious inconsistencies.. if you are a true fan of the shape and patent leather quality then you might want to take a closer look at your pair.

I got a pair from Nike Store via SNKRS Pass and a pair from local Finishline. The left pair is Nike and the right pair is FNL. I noticed that the Nike pair with a 02/17/21 production date has a real dark patent leather as if it was dark charcoal, and the FNL pair 05/11/21 production date is a lighter blueish shade for the patent leather. Both were made in the same factory LNM. In my opinion the 05/11 production date has the best shape and nice color.

What do you think?

Nike pair is almost a year old on release date, that's crazy. Maybe that's why it's so dark.

funny you should mention fila.

fila might be the true innovator of the cool grey upper white midsole colorway.

first seen on the grant hill 1 retro in 1998 i believe.

ironically enough the grant hill 1 is an air jordan 9 knock off

Both if I'm going off the first two pictures. Colors look better on the 3rd picture, shape looks better on the 4th though.

Used to have a pair of Grant HIlls back in 6th grade I think. Loved those shoes back then. Wouldn't buy them now though.

Favorite majority grey Js for me though... probably the dark grey 12s. I've owned CG 4s, Pinnacle 5s, 8s, 17s... Atmosphere 13s. I honestly was never really crazy about these 11s, despite generally being a fan of grey shoes. Felt like I owned too many already, and having too many of the same colorways just makes it harder for me to decide which ones to wear with any given outfit, but I am glad I decided to get these.

That's probably not what happened, sounded good but I doubt it. More than likely it was a different production factory. I don't care what shade I get, as long as both shoes match.

Hey everyone! Sharing a pick-up post and happy holidays!

Never owned any Jordan 11s in my 17 years of collecting except for the 72-10s for a month before returning, 'cause that shoe did not match my style at all at the time (I used to have pants that were more tapered and high-tops gave me that stacked look that I never liked unless it was a low-top shoe.)

Back in the summer, I was randomly browsing some shoe history and ran into the Jordan 11s and I learned so much about the shoes that I now have a new appreciation for them, especially the white/black/concord colorway. Not gonna pay resale on those, so I'll wait it out 'til the next release (in before it retails for $275 by then.)

I cannot compare to any previous models at all, but what I can say is that these look fantastic and I feel it's very versatile with my clothes now (although I have a minimalist wardrobe) and my not-so-tapered pants . It's raining for the next few weeks, but I can't wait to wear these out when it clears up!

Fun note - I was browsing the "Jordan 11" collection on Nike.com the night before the release, and I now want the black Jordan Essential zip-up hoodie and rewatch Creed to soak in all the Jordan product placement.

Not surprisingly the pair I bought on goat a week ago prior to the release was dropped of the same day these released in stores.

nonetheless god willing I hope I get them in hand.

Been copping lesser known models lately and brehs, I'm lowkey reluctant to wear the Cool Grey's. They're too clean! I don't wanna mess them up so I think I found the solution to my problem!

Thinkin about coppin get that cool grey look but not really but if I'm walking 3 maybe even 5 times faster than my normal pace no one will be able to tell the difference unless they're really into my intense walking pace. I just gotta prepare myself for the clownery and let down heads when they stop me to compliment then see I'm rocking a lesser brand.

On the real though, I am about to cop some OG spaghetti stackhouses! Been gettin really into chunky 90s bball shoes lately. Only 90 bucks!
