nah...it always cost because the is fasho never 'free' be it time, stress, , there usually is something that comes with it but seems to me that once it becomes a paid thing, if man aren't optimizing the ting in terms of creating the best profile possible, it's probably an inefficient use of funds

Though I did break my one rule for never paying for sex during COVID using that stimulus money at a strip club with my boys. I played my part and stimulated the economy. That was my first and only time paying for box but it was free money

The problem really isn’t about paying for it but mostly the overpriced fee for maybe more matches.

When hinge plus for a week was od cheap (less than $10) during the pandemic, it was almost a must to get it since everyone was online. Between 2020-2023, you could clean up easy on hinge and maybe bumble with throwing your lunch money at the app. The only time it was a waste is when you messed up and did tinder gold, only thing you matched with were bots and the occasional trans woman.

Just be smart with y’all bread. Not point in paying a premium for apps just for a chance to match when everyday expenses are at a premium
