Hinge Takeover >>> Tinder, Bumble Pof

Saw a few tweets lately from two chicks I used to talk to from Bumble a few yrs back. Didn’t even realize we still followed each other since I don’t use Twitter much. One chick is a lawyer, highly argumentative personality and would turn everything into a debate. It was draining so I deaded that pretty quickly. She used to talk about how she wanted to be married by 30, how having a partner/family was important in life, stuff like that.

Now she’s constantly tweeting stuff like “women should focus on having self-sufficient lives and decentralize partnership and children”, and how partnership is overrated and not important.

The other one was the kind of chick that wanted to be a stay-at-home mom/wife and “men should be men” and should pay for everything and be the provider. Now she’s proudly tweeting about how she pays 100% of the rent while her man cooks and cleans the house and how she doesn’t believe in gender roles.

It’s really weird out here.
They created a box, trapped themselves in that box, reality hit, now they have to settle cuz the options got limited as the years went by.

Cold world :lol

Whats weird is you're judging your "couldve beens".

Move on bruh and stop psychoanalyzing everything.

I feel like Drake sometimes, minus the status.
How they ain't never call you on the cell phone?

I think we are starting to make some breakthroughs with you. Stop trying to be cool and nonchalant like how Drake appears. Don't try and do what he does on a smaller scale, that ain't working for you.
Yeah that’s exactly it. Also a lot of people (men and women) hop on these apps thinking they’re gonna find someone that’s not even checking for them. My girl knows a bunch of women that are 5’s or 6’s at best that have been on the dating apps for years looking to settle down. In her words, they all think just because a good looking or high earning guy has matched with them and smashed, that one of those same guys is gonna lock them down. They eventually give up on those dreams and either settle for a an average looking, average earning dude or they just embrace being independent. It is what it is.
True, seen it first hand.

Girl in the moving video reminds me of a lot of the girls I work with.

They're all strong, independent, and can handle their own business until they need a guy to bail them out.

The other day a patient flipped out on this one nurse that I find particularly insufferable. The supervisor was called and tried to create peace instead of telling the patient he was out of line, which was probably the smart thing to do considering the patient in question.

The nurse ended up literally crying that the supervisor didn't back her up and started talking crazy to him saying stuff like "do you have daughters?! My dad would NEVER let a man talk to me like that!!"

It's like ***** you're 28 years old, about to get married, and just bought a house. Why are you bringing up daddy at work like anyone should give a ****?

To be honest... the supervisor should've backed her up if the patient was in the wrong..

Her bringing up her father protecting her was prolly out of anger..

Often times supervisors forget that they are there to provide support and guide the people under them..

My childs mother is an RN transitioning to be a NP... and she gives me horror stories about patients kicking, throwing stuff, and being disrespectful... and she is the "strong, independent, handle her own business" type like you said..

Supervisor supposed to hold down the team, not pander to the patient to keep things cool.. but hey what do i know

It's always gonna boil down to what was said/done and what kind of person you're dealing with.

From what I understand the nurse in question laughed at one of his requests and that's what sent him off the deep end. He was particularly hard-headed and the supervisor made attempts to support her, but he wasn't hearing any of it so he figured it was best to keep the peace and swap with another nurse.

You're not gonna change someone who is only gonna be on the unit for 4-5 days. You make the attempt at supporting your staff, but if the patient isn't budging you need to acknowledge your limitations.

She expected him to go in guns blazing and put the dude in his place. It doesn't work that way, so don't bring up daddy when you're pushing 30 like it has any sort of relevance.
