Dior Introduces Customizable Walk'n'Dior Oblique Canvas Sneaker
Each pair finished by hand in under 48 hours.
Part of a string of recent Oblique-printed canvas sneakers and accessories, Dior is launching a set of customizable Walk’n'Dior sneakers under the ABCDior program. Boasting a design reminiscient of the popular B23 low-top silhouette, the Walk’n'Dior models slightly tweak the design of the covetable kicks to better complement the bespoke details.
Despite the quick turnaround of 48 hours (or less), each pair of Walk’n'Dior sneakers may be customized with a hand-finished two-tone label permanently riveted to the shoes’ heel. Up to three letters may be added to each label and Dior allows asymmetric labels for those seeking full customization. Aside from the unique labels, the Walk’n'Dior differs from the B23 in several ways.
Though both in-demand shoes offer the iconic Oblique logo print atop their canvas uppers, the Walk’n'Dior offers a slightly streamlined silhouette. The chunky midsole removes the foxing and contrasting “DIOR” branding, swapping in a tonal white rubber midsole with embossed “J’ADIOR” accent towards the rear. Furthermore, the upper is no longer translucent and is instead a sturdy non-technical canvas, complete with beige trim and matching laces printed with “CHRISTIAN DIOR” branding.
Visit a Dior boutique to find out if the ABCDior personalization service will be offered near you. Otherwise, shop the Walk’n'Dior in embroidered Oblique canvas on Dior’s website for $950 USD.
