That’s just common sense but I’m sure there will still be complaints that it is fascism or something.

"nobody wants to be a teacher anymore"
Are the reasons similar/same or different issues?I teach high school special education and in the last year we've had three teachers walk away. These aren't even new teachers, one had worked for 15 years and walked out in the middle of the day. The other two left at the end of the year. There's a husband and wife team that teach special ed at the high school near mine and they're leaving end of the year. All teachers are pretty fed up.
Wild
They're about the same. Our district has undervalued teachers for years, especially special education teachers. We're over-worked, our caseloads keep getting bigger and all the paperwork and meetings keep growing. There's no support from admin in regards to discipline issues in and out of the classroom. Are the reasons similar/same or different issues?
I know more people with covid now, on a personal level, than during the actual pandemic smh.
Hopefully it didn’t spoil your trip.just got back from japan and my wife, my daughter, and i got super sick. we did not wear masks in japan
i had to go to the ER for rehydration. I have never been that sick before. tested positive for flu. no covid. looks like i have labyrinthitis as a residual and i have to pretty much lay down all day or else vertigo hits hard along with nausea.
i gotta get serious again about not getting sick. that flu had me questioning my life lol.
side note: my son got that diamond-hard immunity. never got covid while living in the small apartment when we all got it. didn’t get the flu when we’re were all coughing our guts out.
didn’t spoil it thank goodness. the bad symptoms hit when we got back.Hopefully it didn’t spoil your trip.
I honestly can’t imagine stopping masking indoors now that I know it keeps me from getting respiratory illnesses. I declined going out to dinner with my fam (who take zero precautions) recently and my dad asked when I was going to stop wearing a mask indoors and I told him it would be the same time I stop wearing a seatbelt in the car.
Got it again, Thursday seemed normal and felt fine. Woke up, ran a little, hit the weights, took a shower and went to work. Thursday night had a hangover headache but I didn’t even drink. Ran a fever but was super cold and sweaty. Then violently vomiting, couldn’t keep anything down at all, not water, ginger ale, nothing. All of Friday was a wash. Stuff started clearing up, felt slightly better ate some chicken noodle soup, felt a little better hit the gym, for a whopping 35 minutes, I was so out of breath. Chest pain had me slumped. I don’t think I can do this again. I’m not as young as I was the first time I caught it, major salute to the older demographic that catch it and keep it pushing, I was and slightly still am wrecked.
