My stripper bartender friend who been working 4-5 nights a week still hasnt gotten the vid (nor has gotten sick at all). Im flabbergasted. The air filters in that place must be elite.

Me too. Got sick December 2019 and I NEVER been that sick in my life. TERRIBLE cough and there were 2 days were I was just weak as a mfer. I think the pandemic was still just mostly in Asian countries (probably just China still) but we had a lot of Asian clients in our store so maybe thats how? No idea but I havent been remotely sick ever as I was then. If I was that sick now I would 100% conclude is covid and id have hours to live.

Dropping mask requirements will do nothing to protect the public, especially those who are immunocompromised or can't be vaccinated. He's wildin.

Boris Johnson thinks it is fine for people to wear no mask. So putting aside no mask vs basic mask (like cloth), not everyone in Britain is probably wearing a basic mask.
Johnson is also saying that if you have been wearing an N95 to meet mandates, you can take those off too.
So of course someone that wants people to be wearing the most protective masks would be against dropping all mask mandates. They want people to be told to wear a better mask, not that it is cool to take them off.

Ive been to the hospital/medical offices more times in the past few months than most people go in a decade and ive been fine with my 2 measly masks.
Measly masks meaning 2 of the thicker type medical masks, sometimes a kn or kf95 whatever its called with a regular medical mask over it. You can have whatever opinion you want on masks but I probably woudnt wanna redo all my visits bucket naked.

KN95 and KF94 are not "measly". They are exactly the type of respirators I recommend.

Id double up on the thicker medical masks but sometimes to a hospital visit or whatever id do the kn/kf plus a regular medical mask over it. I highly doubt people are doubling up on the kn/kf’s. Indont even think they would fit right?

The problem with adding another mask over a respirator is that you're increasing the pressure drop and potentially forcing inhaled air around the filtration of the mask. The whole point isn't to make it HARDER to breathe, but rather allow oxygen to flow through the mask and allow the filter to trap viral particles in the electrostatic medium as intended.
