Based on the discussion attached, it appears as though testing indicates the protection from a 3rd (booster) dose of the OG provides the same protection against Beta and Delta as a targeted ("switched") mRNA booster dose. That's great news.
For now, FDA says no reason for widespread booster program. Not that I completely disagree, but hopefully they allow people to get them if they want them instead of just allowing the shots to be thrown away...

Here I am talking about 3rd doses and some people still refuse to get their first despite the wealth of evidence showing they're safe and effective. Thank God for socialized COVID medical care!
