Agreed....I noticed this years ago OP. When I was down I had a i205 Nextel, straight gray brick wih the pea green screen. A chick would never put her numberin, they would just repeat themselves. Once I got the i870 ( I believe) they was grabbin the phone b4 I could flip it open.
