or spyware, whatever it is..my girl's sister got it on her computer..have any of you gotten this and if so how did you delete it?
Has anyone dealt with the virus "Antivirus 2009"?

Is there this thing that pops up at the bottom that says something about being infected with a spyware? And then when you click it, it installs Antivirus 2009and scans?

Oh and when you do what the mod says, go back to the forum and post new logs so they can find out if there are more things to fix.

I get that on the computer in my office at work, and those are government computers that run virus scanners every night. I never get it on my laptop, ordesktop at home, and I download so much porn at home it isn't funny.

I've had my Mac for a year and been pretty much immune.
I had a Macbook about 2 and a half years back that I had limewire on though, and that thing got REAL slow.
Then again I think it only had like 512 ram, and i'm not sure if that was before the intel processors in macs.
I know WAY more about computers now than I did at that time in my life

Theres this one site I go to for my music downloads, I wont state the name, it does have a slur in the title, but I get SOOO annoyed when I go there. There arepop ups like CRAZY. I never got a virus on my mac, but the 1st time I went there on someone elses comp they got a virus

I used that and it got rid of it..my girl and I both have macs so we're straight...just tryin to do her sister a favor...she almost put in hercc info for the fake antivirus program..

Whats a virus? I haven't heard of one of those since I used a machine with XP or worse on it. It's been atleast 5years.
