This stuff happens in corporate America too. I have a friend that received a company e-mail saying that one of their high ranking employees was accused of soliciting young males and possessed child pornography, but the company was going to "stick by him" until the legal process played out.

It's interesting how little play the current Sheen story has been given by the national media. You have actors claiming Charlie Sheen had gay relations with another actor (as a minor) and only basically the web mags are speaking about it at the moment.

Kevin Spacey is the current hot topic and incredibly has pap photos (allegedly) of him giving dome in a public park. No play whatsoever.

Danny Masterson has 4 women claiming he raped them, and LA police made a statement saying they have "overwhelming evidence" despite pushback by Scientology....and that story basically died after one day.

The industry is still covering for the famous - and only goes ballistic (see Weinstein, Cosby, etc) when they basically have to, when 40+ women are holding press conference or making statements every single day and you essentially have no choice but to cover it.

I listened to a podcast recently (radio lab WNYC) and there was a woman on there that was talking about how all this stuff is/was well known, but it was only printed in gossip magazines so it never got any traction.

NICE I really wanted to see this movie, now it's back on the watch list. Wonder why they just didn't get Christopher Plummer for the role in the first place. Kevin Spacey is never the draw in the movies I've seen him in. I wanted to see this film because of Ridley Scott and Michelle WIlliams. I saw American Beauty because of Sam Mendes and Thora Birch. Dude is super overrated to me.
