GXFR - Griselda by Fashion Rebels | Official Thread

Every time I listen to a Spesh project, I be mad at myself like “what the hell was i listening to that had me not listening to this?!”

That Sunday School verse woke me up and now he’s my second favorite rapper, after Benny. Wild.

I got put on to Spesh with that Son G Rap project

And that put me on to Benny

I was scrambling like who is this _ at the end

Man Spesh And Benny WENT CRAZY on that, poor Vado.

Spesh -

If it's a problem, I'm engagin' in ways of stoppin' ya
Death sentence like when Lefty betrayed the Mafia
It's too many rats in your pack, Frank Sinatra

****** dyin' first whenever I attack, huh
They better wear a iron hat
I'm smoother than a vampire that transforms to a flyin' bat
I used to charge ****** higher tax
I had to stop 'cause ****** ain't O.G.s, they retired rats

Benny -

I don't like none of these ******
Gotta flow to humble these ******
The four pound shake the ground right from under these ******
I made checks with the squadron, pay respect to the bosses
Shootin' like Lebron in game seven in Boston

Took every precaution, there's a price to pay with it
The State Troopers'll pull you if your license plate crooked
Look, when they was out of town in the rented Lambs
I was dryin' a kilogram under a ceilin' fan

These ****** all Goofys, that cheap liquor got you all woozy
We see the opps them ****** call movies
That's real **** 'cause we always bought guns before we bought jewelry

Uh, I touch so many ki's, I think I'm Phil Collins
Watched paper and money for the bail bondsman
Cooked a half this mornin' just to see if I still got it,
I still got it

You just hear certain lines that tells you these _'s are different

Fred and spesh are perfect...like they def need to do tapes together.

That line where Spesh said "His pops heard it through the grapevine like Gerald Lavart" sound hard but Marvin did Heard It through the Grapevine. Then I started thinking about Eddie Lavart being Gerald pops and where was Spesh going.

My b**** got hit with a draco shell—in her head and her chest, but she ate those shells. I guess they wanted *me* dead, but that ain’t go well. Now we both eatin’ brunch in a great hotel.

fahim is underrated IMO.
I still feel like mach and fahim should work with Griselda.

don't get me wrong, Griselda has the torch regardless but it feels like we're getting a portion of what could be.
each of their styles are so different it would be even more like wu if fahim and mach were on wwcd. I know its not muggs' place to tell wsg how to run his company but I know i'm not the only one that feels like we're getting voltron or devastator with missing limbs.

Not sure about the specifics but Gunn has stated multiple times that he wants to bury the hatchet

I actually like Mach better when it's him and God Fahim. They have established their own sound and vibe.

When I listen to Mach's old features with Griselda he almost sounds outta place.

I'm actually fine with them not being on GxFR, I just would like features every now and then and no conflict

dunno, IMO songs like

chyna (Conway, wsg, mach)
laundromat rap (Conway, mach)
king city (wsg, mach)
macho on coke (wsg/mach)
even beloved with Conway, mach and benny work

a few others...he's appreciated and fits to me. its cool that he's so different than the others. kinda like how masta killa is dif than everyone else in wu.

i'd like to hear Conway, benny, wsg, 38 spesh, mach, fahim, flee, el camino (rap, not sing a hook -they playing with son) on the same track on some wu ****.
also waiting for estee nack and al.divino to hop on some songs. and crimeapple. and mayhem and Bronson. and roc. lol everybody.

I def want to hear anything al.divino and wsg record.
