Welcome back griffey. To be honest, I like the nostalgia of it, but I don't think he's going to do much for the team. I think the Mariners want himmore for the city of Seattle. He's going to bring more people to the games, and fans are going to love the Mariners even more. But the dude is almost 40years old, and he's retiring soon, so it's not always smart to invest so much for a player that's only giving one or two years. Don't get mewrong, I love Griffey and I'm glad he's back. Maybe he can help the Mariners to the world series.

Nonetheless, I've been a Mariner fan all my life and I grew up watching Griffey and the others play in the Kingdome, so I'll be going to a few gamesthis season at Safeco.
