Agree completely. Deron can get out and defend a little bit, and he doesn't take a ton of chances and gamble a lot because Jerry Sloan won't have it. Deron's big enough to defend bigger guards and quick enough to guard guys like Chris Paul...Originally Posted by Nowitness41Dirk
wait%%+%, Williams cant play defense?? i mean he ant locking people up but he can pretty much go out and guard any 1 or 2. and dont anyone say paul can play defense cause he cant he is AI jr out there with high amount of steals but cant guard someone 1 on 1.
Whats really crazy is the idea that Mo Willaims is better point guard (this part is important) than Jose Calderon.
Crazier that Raptors fans are the only ones really arguing it.
He averages less turnovers and more assists in less minutes with also a higher field goal percentage? What more would you like?
dont act like kidd hasnt took his team to the finals 2wice
EXACTLY. My dude wants to talk about "winning means something in basketball" like Jason Kidd hasn't made deeper runs than any PG inthe league not named Chauncey Billups or Tony Parker. He averages less turnovers and more assists in less minutes with also a higher field goal percentage? Mo has the ball in his hands more and is held responsible for more of the scoring load than Calderon is. He doesn't have the luxury of dumpingthe ball into Chris Bosh on the blocks every night. I've seen enough of both to feel comfortable in saying I'd rather have Mo than Calderon. We'llagree to disagree.Deron is a tweener.
A tweener? Deron Williams is a flat out PG. He's not a tweener in any sense.
If anything CP3 is the "tweener", compared with Deron Williams.
What?
